Master of Arts in Education: Concentration in Instructional Strategies


Stresses best practices in assisting students in reaching their optimum potential in learning. Weaving concepts related to critical thinking, whole brain learning, curriculum design and creativity into core subjects provide a base for teacher development to meet the needs of a diverse student population. Students completing the Masters in Education degree are expected to possess knowledge and skills to become team and curriculum area leaders. Specifically students will attain skills necessary to differentiate curriculum for various learners, work with a diverse economic population, and conduct research to improve their teaching.
